If we do not lay ourselves in the service of mankind whom should we serve?
- Abigail Adams
From the President
It’s been a quiet winter in our Lions world, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t accomplished anything. The ongoing pandemic has kept many of our events from happening, but we were able to participate in the Shrewsbury Borough Christmas Tree Lighting. We were also able to sponsor a family for Christmas through HOPE as well as provide a holiday meal for the residents of Strassburg Haus. Sadly, we recently lost one of our very own members, Lion Patty O’Brien. She was a stalwart within the community, giving of her time and talents in many areas. She will be greatly missed. We are now gearing up for what we hope will be a busier spring. We are branching out this year with our yard sale holding two instead of one. The first will be on May 1 so mark your calendars!
In Service,
Michele Lefler
President
